We find it to be a great sign of intelligence and depth of life when a person is an avid reader. Don’t misunderstand me…I believe with great zeal that reading is incredibly important to help us develop ourselves and shape our minds (hopefully, as we’d like to have it shaped). But here’s the thing: many of us have begun to hide behind our books, or for those I feel more sorry for, their tablets and “readers”, instead of going out into the world and interacting with real people, touching nature, breathing in air unadulterated for the most part by civilization. Read a book. It’s good for you. But be sure to venture out into the world, to live and write your own story.
